Meet the Attorney

Matthew originally came to the States at an early age from Poland. Settling in Lawrenceville, New Jersey he subsequently attended Temple University and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a Minor in Criminal Justice. Shortly thereafter, Matthew moved to South Florida where he attended Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad School of Law and obtained his Juris Doctorate. During law school, Matthew clerked for the Honorable John J. Murphy III. Upon graduating, Matthew was hired as an associate attorney for a multi-state firm specializing in creditor’s rights, collections, foreclosure and various other real estate matters. There, he quickly rose to the level of a managing attorney overseeing multiple attorneys and paralegals. Matthew decided to pursue his lifelong dream of venturing out on his own and opened Matthew Slowik, P.A.

Matthew specialized in various aspects of real estate litigation as well as personal injury, auto accidents, slip and fall and wrongful death actions.

 Matthew is married and has 2 beautiful children, Emily and Nicole. In his spare time, Matthew enjoys playing golf, tennis, swimming. Matthew is fluent in Polish and conversant in Czech and Slovak.
